The Cisco TelePresence meeting solution comprises several endpoint models to meet many types of meeting needs:
• The Cisco TelePresence 500 is designed for one or two users in a private office.
• The Cisco TelePresence 1000 is for small group meetings and one-on-one conversations.
• The Cisco TelePresence 3000 is for business meetings with up to 6 participants per room.
• The Cisco TelePresence 3200 is for large group meetings of up to 18 participants per room.
These endpoints work with Cisco TelePresence Manager software, which provides easy call scheduling and setup, and the Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch for multipoint calls.

Product Overview
The Cisco TelePresence meeting solution combines life-size, ultra-high-definition video (1080p), spatial audio, a specially designed environment, and interactive elements to create the feeling of being "in person" with meeting participants in remote locations. This simple, easy-to-use solution allows you and other participants to focus on the meeting, not the technology, and communicate naturally and effectively.
For large, distributed organizations striving to thrive and grow in today's global virtual economy, the Cisco TelePresence 3200 brings the power of Cisco TelePresence technology to larger room venues. Ideal for headquarters sites or large regional offices, the system allows large teams to meet and collaborate virtually using Cisco TelePresence when much of the team is in one physical location. With seating for up to 18 participants in a single room, the system delivers the same superior video and audio quality as the rest of the Cisco TelePresence portfolio. Applications for the Cisco TelePresence 3200 include large team meetings, cross-functional team meetings, and training or classroom events. Applications
The Cisco TelePresence 3200 is ideal for large group meetings with many participants in a single location, connecting to other satellite groups in remote locations. It provides an equal seat at the table for participants for applications such as operations reviews, status update meetings, quarterly meetings with clients or partners, executive presentations, or meetings requiring staff to be present.
• Large teams: The seating capacity for up to 18 participants in a Cisco TelePresence 3200 room allows the local team to meet in one physical room and use Cisco TelePresence technology to interact virtually with remote members of the team.
• Cross-functional groups: The extra seating capacity of a Cisco TelePresence 3200 allows key stake holders from many organizations to participate in the Cisco TelePresence session. The attendance at many cross-functional meetings may vary widely, with many participants needed for critical decision points in a project. The extra capacity of a Cisco TelePresence 3200 provides the flexibility needed for these events.
• Training: For corporate training and distance learning, the Cisco TelePresence 3200 allows you to virtually bring in subject matter experts or guest lecturers from one or more remote locations. For such applications, the large room capacity of the Cisco TelePresence 3200 along with the proven video and audio technology of Cisco TelePresence brings the immersive, virtual meeting experience to larger venues and larger audiences.

• Cisco TelePresence supports multipoint meetings with up to 48 locations in any combination of Cisco TelePresence endpoints.
• Simplicity in scheduling and call launch through integration with enterprise groupware and Cisco Unified Communications makes scheduling Cisco TelePresence meetings as easy as sending a calendar invitation. You can show the data or graphics content from the meeting in multiple locations in the room for meeting participants' convenience.
Room for 10 or more additional seats along the back wall
The system offers extra capacity for spectators, note takers, or overflow. Others who may have limited or no active role in the meeting can listen to and see the meeting. (This option requires a room larger than the minimum depth dimensions.)
Uses existing conference rooms; no risers are required for second seating row
You can install a Cisco TelePresence 3200 system in an existing conference room with a minimum of room reconfiguration, making the room more of a conference room and less of a "stadium". Two table second-row options are available, accommodating either 14 or 18 meeting participants in the room.
Upgrade kit available for Cisco TelePresence 3000 rooms
You can convert a Cisco TelePresence 3000 room to a Cisco TelePresence 3200 room in any room with Cisco TelePresence 3200 dimensions (8ft H x 31ft W x 23ft D for the 12-person table and 8ft H x 24ft W x 23ft D for the 8 person table) or move an existing Cisco TelePresence 3000 system to a larger room.

Integration into the Cisco Unified Communications Manager general directory service provides a search function for thousands of directory entries.
Speed dial
Cisco TelePresence allows up to 40 favorites entries for convenient speed-dialing.
Scheduling services
The Cisco TelePresence solution allows for e-mail calendaring, and scheduling services from a Web-enabled application. This feature requires the Cisco TelePresence Manager server to be installed and configured to work with your calendar and e-mail applications.
Gigabit Ethernet switch
The internal Cisco Gigabit Ethernet switch allows for a direct connection to a 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet network through an RJ-45 interface with single LAN connectivity for both the Cisco TelePresence system and a co-located Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G and Ethernet-attached PC. The system administrator can designate separate VLANs (802.1Q) for the PC and Cisco IP phones, providing improved security and reliability of voice and data traffic.
Volume control
The convenient Volume Control button on the phone softkey menu provides for easy volume adjustments.
Cisco "Auto Collaborate"
This Cisco innovation allows people in all rooms to instantly see and share information or objects with others by simply plugging in a device such as a laptop computer or the integrated optional high-definition document camera.
High Frame Rate Auto Collaborate
An optional presentation codec is dedicated to the data channel to provide full motion (30 fps) graphics and multimedia content on the Cisco TelePresence Auto Collaborate data channel.
Document camera controls
Software controls for the optional document camera have been incorporated into the Cisco TelePresence user interface on the Cisco IP phone, providing for a more tightly integrated solution and more natural user controls. (This feature requires Cisco TelePresence software Version 1.2 or later.)
Multipoint support
Cisco TelePresence systems can participate in multipoint meetings by using the Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch.
Mute and hold
The Cisco TelePresence system supports mute and hold functions.
Audio Mute
The Mute feature has an on-screen mute indicator to alert participants that the Mute feature was activated on the Cisco TelePresence microphone, causing all microphones to be simultaneously muted in remote rooms.
Video Mute
The Hold/Resume button toggles the Video and Audio Mute features and allows Cisco TelePresence systems to be placed on hold for privacy.
Dialing buttons
These buttons allow for convenient manual or address-book dialing.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) power for high-definition cameras and Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G
The Cisco high-definition cameras and Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G receive power down the LAN from the Cisco IEEE 803.3af PoE switch incorporated into the Cisco TelePresence codec.
Ring tones
Cisco TelePresence 3200 supports a standard ring tone and busy signal for system operation and user notification.
United States Section 508 features
The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G dial pad conforms to U.S. Section 508 guidelines. The 5 key dial pad has a raised nib that provides a tactilely discernible home key. Signaling protocol support
The Cisco TelePresence system supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) on Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
Audio codec support
G.711 and advanced audio coding with low delay (AAC-LD) audio compression codecs are available.
System lighting
The solution includes an integrated lighting assembly to eliminate facial shadows and provide natural-looking video without harsh studio lighting or makeup.
System lighting controls
You can configure the integrated lighting assembly of the Cisco TelePresence system to turn on or off with a Cisco TelePresence call or with normal working hours.
