Since 1997, our global Cisco Networking Academy program has delivered ICT training supported by online courses, hands-on labs, and interactive learning tools to help improve career and educational opportunities for individuals in communities around the world.
Global Education
The Cisco Global Education group aims to create a new paradigm of 21st century learning by engaging multiple stakeholders in a global discussion to find ways in which technology can support a holistic approach to education reform.
21st Century Schools
Our 21st Century Schools initiative is led by a team of Cisco Fellows who are working with school districts and partners to develop scalable, technology-based solutions for improving education and strengthening communities.
The Global Education Initiative
The Global Education Initiative was developed by the World Economic Forum to promote socioeconomic development through education reform in the developing world. It is one of the largest and most successful models of public-private collaboration for the advancement of education.
New Partnership for Africa's Development
The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) is a comprehensive program developed by the African Union to address challenges facing the African continent. In support of NEPAD, Cisco is developing an education solution to promote the sustainable growth and renewal of Africa.

Teachers Without Borders
Teachers Without Borders develops innovative educational resources to help close the education divide through teacher training programs and community learning centers. Cisco and Teachers Without Borders are currently working together to deliver an online teacher training and certification course in sub-Saharan Africa. Read case study 
National Center for Learning Disabilities
The U.S. National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) aims to bridge the achievement gap for people with learning disabilities. NCLD uses early identification and intervention techniques, along with research-based learning programs, to maximize their impact and effectiveness. Cisco recently provided a grant to support NCLD’s Response to Intervention Action Network initiative, which aims to improve learning outcomes for all U.S. public school students.
MIND Research Institute
MIND Research Institute is dedicated to educational excellence through scientific research. MIND aims to improve K-12 education by integrating brain and learning research into education program. Cisco and MIND Research are working together to deliver these programs to students in low-income, urban neighborhoods. Read case study
